About Good Dog

A dog is a man’s best friend – until they’re yapping and snarling at him.
When Phnom Penh’s dog owners are left at a loss by their hairy friends barking and biting they call Will Barton, 34, aka ‘the dog whisperer’.
At home in England, Will trained problem dogs at an animal shelter and rehabilitated them, helping them to find new families.
He moved to Cambodia 18 months ago and his clients include ambassadors & brewery managers. - The Phnom Penh Post

Hi, I’m Will Barton from the UK. After working with dogs for ten years I obtained my BSc in Animal Science and then went on to work in an animal shelter and train 'problem' dogs so they could be re-homed to loving families.

In 2011 I travelled to Cambodia and now live and work here.

I established Good Dog in 2011 to provide a professional dog training service for the residents of Phnom Penh.

I have since become known as the local Dog Whisperer after my appearance in 2012 in the Phnom Penh Post.

Since starting Good Dog, we have helped many clients with their dog training and dog behavioural needs.

Four years on and now I have a large facility offering doggy day care, dog boarding, basic obedience training, and dog walking.

Our clients range from Ambassadors and big business owners, to stay at home mums.

The dogs we train can just need basic obedience training or can need help with severe aggression or food possession.

No problem is too big or too small for the professional attention offered at Good Dog.

We look forward to helping your dog be the next Good Dog!
